Pool Party

Yesterday Daniel got invited to a pool party by his cousins, Sebastian and Luke. The weather was perfect, the food was great (thank you Sheldon) and it was so nice getting to spend time with family.

Crash Course in Ice Packs

On Saturday Danny took a pretty bad fall and hit his forehead. Everytime we would try to put ice on it he would get really upset so Cecilio decided to show him how to do it himself. Sofia (Danny's cousin) felt she could benefit from this class Cecilio was giving and decided to join in as well.

Here we are beating the heat at Baskin Robbins. He looked so cute sitting on the chair eating his ice cream that I had to take some pictures.

Uh Oh!

Last night I was cleaning out Danny's changing table when I came across his binkys. When he was about 9 or 10 months he started refusing them so I didn't think much of giving him one just to see what he'd do. I thought it'd be kind of funny. Well, big mistake. He didn't want to give it back and he kept it in his mouth all night until bedtime. Needless to say, as soon as he fell asleep...I hid it.

A Day at the Zoo

Last Saturday Danny and his cousins, Sebastian and Luke got to experience the zoo for the very first time. I really enjoyed seeing Danny's reactions to the animals. He seemed to have a good time.

Danny was a little frightened by what he saw. Shortly after taking this picture he reached out for me as if to say, "don't let them get me!" Below is a picture of what he was looking at.

Here's little Luke. He wasn't sure what to make of this whole zoo experience at first. Once he adjusted to the new sights and sounds though, he seemed to enjoy it all.

Now Sebastian found the zoo relaxing..........

Unfortunatley our day trip was cut short due to some unexpected weather so we decided to go to the mall and eat. Here are some pics of Sebastian and Danny riding a Bob the Builder tractor we found at Sunland.
