Thanks to my wonderful aunt Marcy, I had the opportunity to see one of the best musicals ever!! After seeing this, I completely understand what the hype is all about now. I was so taken by the story, and the music was amazing! Not to mention the cast, they were phenomenal! Afterwards I just kept thinking of what it must of taken to not only create this story but also to get it to match up so well with 'The Wizard of Oz'. Such amazing talent and imagination! A big thank you to my aunt Nellie and cousin Maya for joining me! I had a lot of fun! Cecilio even got to see it and he actually liked it. He really appreciated the message! It was so great, wish there was a DVD so I could watch it over and over.

Danny's First Professional Haircut

Since Danny was about four months old he's been getting haircuts at home. You'd figure he'd be used to it by now but for the last two years it has been a nightmare to cut his hair. He would just see the buzzers and have a near meltdown! Then we would have to bribe him with chocolates and movies and he would still cry the WHOLE time! Hence the scraggly hairdo's. Well, since he just turned five we figured it was time to put the buzzers away and get this poor kid a haircut with actual scissors! We found this neat place on Mesa, and with a coupon we found it was totally affordable! Needless to say Danny loved the experience and we enjoyed not having to torture him. As for the girls, I still can't bring myself to cut their hair yet but when I'm ready I think they'll really enjoy this place.

Jack Johnson Autograph...No Way!!!

About a month ago I pre ordered a Christmas cd. The first 200 orders included an autographed post card of Jack Johnson. I figured, what the heck! I love his music so it's a win win situation. If I get the autograph great, if not, that's great too right? Well lo and behold...I got one! You cannot believe how excited I am about this! He is my favorite, favorite, favorite singer! I think I love him even more now! Woo hoo! I just can't believe it.

His hands actually touched this postcard! (I hope anyway) Just thinking about it gives me butterflies!!

I had such a nice birthday! My mother-in-law offered to watch the kids so that me and Cecilio could go out! I honestly cannot remember the last time we went on an official date! I had such a nice time talking to him and just being with him. It was a sweet way to spend my birthday! And as if that wasn't enough, he got me an IPad! That was just icing on the delicious cake. Thank you honey! I really had the best time!

Danny is a huge Bieber fan. He listens to his music practically every day. So it was only a matter of time before his sisters started liking him too. Well, Ella, is absolutely taken with Mr. Bieber. Wednesday was Danny's first day of school. He's still in what's called a P.L.A.Y class for speech therapy. It's only twice a week, for about three hours. This is his last year. Next year kindergarten!! Ahh, I don't even want to think about that right now.

We had such a blast with family in town this weekend! It didn't go off without a hitch though! Needless to say Spider-Man was involved. You know, he is turning out to be quite the expensive superhero! Thanks a lot Spider-Man!

He really is doing great though. No pain or discomfort at all. He cried the whole time but I think it was because he was afraid he was going to get a shot. A few days earlier he had gotten his vaccines and was really upset. As soon as we walked out of the E.R. though, he stopped crying immediately and started talking and asking questions. We offered buying him a toy for being so brave but nope, he just wanted to get back home to play with his cousin.

Ten years ago, I made the easiest decision (most important though) of my life to marry Cecilio. I really can't believe it's been ten years already! What a ten years it's been though. As I reminisce and reflect I feel so, so blessed. I am so grateful to be celebrating these ten years of marriage to the most wonderful man. I love him so much and I am excited to be spending eternity him.

Since we've been married we have NEVER really celebrated our anniversary. Lame I know. It just seems there was always someone in town, or something would come up, etc. For our ten year though, I just couldn't let it pass us by. Ten years is a big deal! So what did we do? Well for our honeymoon we went to Disneyland and we had such a good time that we decided going with the three biggest blessings of our marriage would be an awesome way to celebrate...and it was!!!!

This year we felt Danny was old enough to learn the true meaning of Easter. We didn't want him to get caught up in all of the Easter bunny hype and let it overshadow the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we were thinking of ways to explain it to him I had never realized how out there the whole Easter bunny and eggs really are! Since he's in school of course they did activities using Easter eggs, so naturally he had questions about the eggs, then a bunny? Who in the world decided to celebrate Easter this way? It reminded me of a comedian's take on Easter,

So in an effort to be "in the world, but not of the world," my genius aunt told us to put it this way. The Easter bunny is so happy that Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead that he wants us to be happy too. Because of spring and its beautiful colors, we color eggs and he hides candy for us and brings us gifts.

I am so grateful for Jesus Christ in my life. If it wasn't for him I don't know where I would be in my life. It is because of Him and His gospel that I can experience true happiness in this life and in the life to come. I have had my share of trials, hardships, and struggles as we all do but because of Jesus Christ in my life I am truly happy no matter what my circumstance.

I can't believe it but we're going on day 4(about)of no bottle! I have to say the girls have transitioned beautifully. I think it was a little bit harder on me to tell you the truth. It's kind of funny because when I weaned Danny, I was so ready. Did not miss it at all! I was sooo ready. With the girls it's been different. I'm actually kind of sad. They're just growing up so fast! I'm so relieved I don't have to wash em anymore though, that was kind of a pain.

Ella and Emma's First Birthday Party

It is just crazy how fast the past year has gone! My baby girls are one already. I just can't believe it. They have been such a blessing to this family. I can't imagine life without them. We love you Ella and Emma!

Birthday morning. Eating breakfast. Poor things, we actually confined them to their chairs so we could get some stuff done. They did great though.

This year I decided to send the invitations through email. I was hesitant at first because I felt it might be the lazy thing to do but let me tell you, I think I'm going to continue to do this. It was fast and so simple. I didn't have to worry about addresses, labels, buying stamps, printing them out or whether I sent them on time.

Not to mention how easy the thank you notes will be too. (Danny's are still sitting on top of my computer :() I did print out a few to send to Grandparents or people who don't have face book or email though.

Yummy, birthday cake. It was tres leches with pineapple filling. We also had chocolate and white cupcakes. For food we did a taco salad bar and fresh fruit.

The girls however, don't even watch TV or have a favorite character, so...as time went on and I started buying things and getting ideas, it somehow turned into a butterflies and flowers theme.

The girls really enjoyed their day. What made it even more meaningful is that it was their actual birthday. Worked out great. I just wanted to thank all of you for your love and support. I'm not sure where me and Cecilio would be without you guys. Family and friends just helps make life so much more special. Love you guys.

Also, I just wanted to wish my Dad a Happy Birthday too. Hope you had a great one Dad! (I'm sure I've mentioned this before but just in case, Ella and Emma have the same birthday as my dad. Which is funny because Danny was born on Cecilio's dad's birthday.)

Catching Up...AGAIN! So Sorry

Wow, I can hardly believe its almost been a year since the girls were born, and how behind I have gotten on this blog! Time to restart it. I'm so sad I missed documenting so many of those moments that make life special. But I'm here now rededicated and ready to start again.

I am just the kind of person that wants everything perfect. I kept telling myself, ok, once I do the dishes, or once I pick up the house, or once Cecilio comes home...I'll work on on the blog. It takes me a while to get it exactly the way I want it you know. Fast forward to a year later and no updates on the blog. With three kids now though, I have learned or am learning shall I say, that everything can't be perfect and if it is, I am usually missing out on something else.

Not to mention that having twins has been crazy!! (That's my other excuse.) it's kind of hard to explain but at the time it has not seemed hard at all. People ask me, "Is it hard?" And I always respond that it isn't nearly as hard as I thought. Sometimes it seems like its been easier than it was with Danny. Looking back now, however, I have no idea how we've done it! Just the feedings alone were so time consuming. If it wasn't for my two boys, I'm not sure what I would of done.

Danny has been so amazing this last year. So patient, and understanding. Going from the only child to the oldest of three has to be hard and he has been so wonderful. There have been so many times that I've had to put the girls before him and he just waits patiently until I'm done. He is such a good boy and I am so blessed to have him in my life. He seriously deserves a trip to Disneyland or something. I have been very impressed by my little man.

Cecilio. Poor Cecilio. He has been extraordinary. From helping late at night with the girls and having to wake up early for work. To watching the girls for me while I take a much needed break, even though he's exhausted too. He has helped so much. If it wasn't for him, I really don't know how I would of done it. He is such a good father and husband. His calmness with the kids has always calmed me down. I am so grateful for that. When the girls were first born people were amazed that I would leave him alone with all the kids. He's just a natural. He's a pro.

So here's to updating my blog. Hopefully I can keep it up!

My baby cousin, Clayton, and his fiancee, Andy, were sealed for time and all eternity on January 8, in the Albuquerque temple. Aren't they a beautiful couple?

Christmas 2010

Ok, so not only am I behind on my blog, but we have been terrible about taking pictures! With my re dedication however, this is going to change. I now am going to see the camera as being part of the family, a friend, as opposed to a mere object or extra thing to carry.

Here are a few shots I bummed off Lily, my sister in law, during Christmas. As always, it was great. We had family in town and could not have had a better time.

We took a million shots but the girls would not smile. I love Danny's smile though. Poor guy, he was so tired when we took these.

Thank you to my Tia Belinda for their traditional Christmas outfits. They looked so cute!

For Christmas this year, Santa went all out for Danny. He got him everything he wanted and a little bit more. He figured he had been such a good boy this year, with his sisters being born and all, that he deserved it. Well Christmas day, me and Cecilio were so excited to see his expression. We couldn't wait to see how excited he would be to get so many toys from Santa.

When he finally woke up and walked into the room, he just non chalantly walked over to his toys and started to just touch them. He had no expression on his face at all, almost like he expected it. We were so disappointed and sad. We figured it might have been because he just woke up, but some more theories started brewing after that.

Later that day we went to my aunt's house to open gifts. He was a little more excited there, but still not the excitement I had envisioned in my mind. Maybe it was just me and my crazy expectations. I just kind of let it go. Through conversation, my uncle started telling us about his Christmases as a boy and how he would get so excited over a pair of socks. That really stuck with me and stood out in my mind for some reason.

A few days later we went to a birthday party. When it came time to open gifts, something was just too familiar. The little girl, the same age as Danny, was just opening gift after gift, and not even getting excited about anything. She'd open a gift and look at it and then move on to the next. That's when it finally hit me (took me a while I know). My kid was ungrateful and not because he was a bad kid, the opposite actually. He's always so good that we buy him whatever he wants. While trying to make him happy and "reward" him we have actually been robbing him of those wonderful emotions you get when you are so thankful for something. He had no clue what that felt like!! That really made me and Cecilio sad. This feeling is so important in life. Being grateful is what makes us happy and content. We do not want Danny to miss out on this beautiful feeling so, we're starting to make him work for his toys, and trying to say no a little more. We'll see if this helps. Next year we have decided Santa can only bring him three toys by the way. After all, that's all the Savior received. We'll see what happens.

Danny has been doing wonderfully in school. His teacher is amazing. She just always goes above and beyond for her students. This year she had a little party for Christmas and invited parents. Decorating a little late...again! This year I was so tempted to put the Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving and then I talked myself out of it telling myself it was too early. Well here we are, decorating a week before Christmas. Better late than never right?!

I am so behind! Anyway, last month Danny had his followup checkup for his ears and the doctor said he's doing great. His hearing is back to normal and the tubes look good. Thank goodness!!

Pierced Ears

I know this might be controversial for some but we finally did it (two months ago). We got the girls ears pierced. We kept going back and forth about whether we should do it while they were young or wait until they could make the decision for themselves but with a little peer pressure from Cecilio's sister, Lily and brother-in-law, Mike we took the plunge. These were the best pictures we got and we didn't even get any pictures of their earrings but they look so cute!! They only cried for about a minute and the rest of the day they were fine. Personally I'm glad we got it done now, they don't seem to mind the earrings at all!

On a side note Emma had to have one ear done twice due to the earring not being centered. We waited a few days and took her back. She was a champ. She cried of course but not very long. It killed Cecilio that we had to put her through that torture twice and I think he's glad and relieved this whole piercing the ears thing is over and done with!

Danny's Surgery

So we finally went through with it and scheduled Danny for surgery on October 28th. Since he was about two he's suffered from ear infections but we never knew the extent or severity of them because he would never complain or even get fevers. Last summer it seemed like it had all cleared up. The fluid in his ears was gone and his hearing was back to normal but a few months ago the infections came back. The doctor found he had an infection in both ears during a routine check up. Being that we were always finding out about the infections by chance, it kind of made us wonder how many infections he'd probably had in the past year that went undetected.

Danny also has a speech delay and we figured that this might be the root of the problem. His hearing. Whenever he had an infection that was caught it was always in both ears so he'd been hearing like he was under water. My poor baby.

So anyway, we scheduled the surgery and it went fine. It was an in and out procedure. All they did was make an incision in the ear drum and inserted a little tube into it to relieve any pressure and allow any fluid that may accumulate to drain. You can't see the tube. Eventually as he gets older they'll just fall out. The scariest part of this whole ordeal was that he had to be put to sleep, but obviously he did great. After the surgery he was back to himself. We got home and he just watched movies and played and played and played. He didn't even take a nap or complain of pain!

I'm a little worried because it still seems like he can't hear very well but I'm hoping it's just his ears healing from the surgery. It is possible there might be damage from the infections. But despite not being able to hear very well, Danny is doing great. He seems much more happier and content. His appetite is even better! His next appointment is the Monday after Thanksgiving. They'll do a hearing test and see how the tubes are doing.

Chalk the Block 2010

For the past three years El Paso has held an arts festival downtown called Chalk the Block. Local artists get to create chalk art and compete in different divisions. It's a free event so we figured what the heck. Well we got there kind of late and the kids zone was closing up but we were still able to see the artwork. It was very impressive. I think I definitely want to go back next year, just maybe a little earlier. As usual we didn't really get many pictures but here's an idea.

A few months ago Emma got sick and we had to take her to the doctor. I stayed home with Ella and Danny while Cecilio took her. It was so cute because as Cecilio was getting her diaper bag ready Danny put one of his favorite toys in the bag for her. I asked him "You want Emma to take that?" and he said yes because she was sick. I thought it was so thoughtful of him. He really does love his sisters sooo much!

A few Saturdays ago we went to a UTEP football game. We've been trying to do more with the kids and they had done so well at our last outing we decided we'd try. Cecilio works on Saturdays and gets off around 6, so I had to make sure we were ready to just take off when he got home. I'm not kidding you, I spent the WHOLE day getting the kids ready and making sure we had everything we needed (diapers, bottles, etc.,).

We were a little concerned about the price of tickets and were going back and forth about whether we should spend that much money on a game with kids in tow but after what I went through to get them ready, WE WERE GOING.

As we were walking to the game a lady stopped us to look at the twins, and she asked if we needed tickets. She had an extra one and offered it to us at no charge! Whew, that was going to help out a lot! As we were buying the remaining tickets they didn't charge us for Danny and Cecilio used his (expired) student ID to buy his ticket, which meant, we got into the game free! Cecilio says he thinks the girl was just being nice because of the twins but thank goodness because the girls...hated it. Emma calmed down after we fed her but Ella was downright miserable. We tried putting her to sleep but it was just too loud. Danny kind of enjoyed it but you could tell he would have rather been doing something else. We were there for a total of about 45 minutes or so. I think it took longer to walk there. So what did we learn for next time? Um, there won't be a next time, not till they're a little older anyway. It created some pretty funny memories though.

I have been eyeing little tutus since the girls were born. They just look so cute! Well, when I started looking into buying them some I was amazed at how expensive they were especially when buying for two. So I started investigating and came across a video on YouTube showing how to make them. I had to try it. I was surprised how easy and inexpensive they were to make!! Martita invited us to the zoo on labor day. As I going through the pictures, I asked Danny, "Do you remember when we went to the zoo? Did you have fun?" and all he said was, "It was hot!" Trial Run at Movies in the Canyon

Every year McKelligon Canyon hosts what's called Movies in the Canyon. It's a free event and they show older movies on a huge blowup screen in the middle of the beautiful canyon. We've been wondering how the kids would do at a UTEP game and figured this might be a good trial run, being that it was free. Well, Danny really enjoyed it despite the photo and the girls did wonderful! We got to see Madagascar 2, love that movie. Being that they did so well, we're going to try going to a UTEP game next. Kind of nervous, we'll see how it goes!

Sorry about abandoning you guys for so long. The last four months have been crazy! We not only had twins but we bought a house in April. Things are finally starting to settle down and I'm slowly getting a routine with the kids so I should be posting on a more regular basis from now on. I missed everyone here in the blogging world. Just so you know although I didn't leave any comments, I have been keeping up with everyone through my phone. It's just kind of hard to leave comments through a cellphone.

Considering, Danny has adjusted beautifully to his little sisters. He has become so independent and not to mention he is such a good helper. Of course he does have his days but for the most part he's been a champ! He loves them so much, we often have to tell him to give them space because he always wants to be kissing and hugging them. I'm so proud of him. Sometimes I feel guilty because he doesn't get close to the attention he used to, but honestly, I don't think it even bothers him. He's in his own little world playing and pretending to be super heroes! I love him so much.

I woke up to go to the bathroom at about two in the morning and as I laid down I felt a little pop in my stomach. I thought, "Hmmm, maybe one of the babies just kicked me." It kind of felt like it did when my water broke with Danny but I just brushed it off. I wasn't very comfortable so I stood up to change position and...it was confirmed, my water had broken! Now usually I would of been nervous but I can't tell you how relieved and excited I was. This pregnancy had been particularly brutal and I was so ready to be done with it! We had a c-section scheduled for a couple weeks out, but knowing they were ready on their own was a big relief!

Now, although it was a big relief, my heart ached. It ached for Danny. My mother in law was in town to help, but leaving him at night just broke my heart because that meant he'd wake up to no mommy at home. It felt like I was abandoning him. As much as I wanted to wake him up to let him know, I knew it would be worse if I did. We had never been apart for so long and that's what killed me! What made it worse is that the hospital did not allow kids in due to the swine flu. So that meant I wouldn't see Danny for three days!! I missed him already.

Once we got to the hospital, everything went very smoothly. We got there about three-ish and my doctor was scheduled to be there to deliver someone else at six so they were going to keep an eye on me until she got there. I didn't have contractions yet, so they figured I would be ok, but, uggghhh, three more hours, I didn't know if I could wait that long! I was just so anxious. Well last minute, my doctor changed her mind and didn't want me to have to wait. Bless her heart! Ella came out first and weighed 5.5 lbs, next was Emma, I remember as they were taking her out the doctor said, "whoa!" She weighed 7.5 pounds! That means I was carrying 13 pounds of baby around! Now wonder I was so miserable. I was so happy though, they were beautiful and healthy. I STILL can't believer there's two of them!

Quick Little Update on Girls

Everything is going so well. We really have been blessed so far. At our last ultrasound, baby A had caught up to baby B. They were only measuring a day a part so that was really good news! This past week I also got a steroid shot being that I'm nearing 33 weeks, the doctor felt it might be a good idea to get the shot to speed up their lung development in case they are born early. From her experience after the 33rd week they can come at any time. Hopefully they stay in there a little longer (although I'm ready now!!) Other than that, everything is going great! It seems my energy levels are going up a bit, and I'm still experiencing nausea, but that seems to be getting better too, well, this week anyway!

We're still having trouble picking out names! If you guys have any suggestions, please let us know.

First Day of School

Finally! After getting a few things in order, Danny was finally able to start school this past Thursday. For those of you who don't know (and I always mention this but just in case) Danny has a speech delay and is starting a class that is very similar to pre-K but with an emphasis on speech therapy. There are 11 kids total in the class, including Danny, and all of them are a little older than him which makes it perfect because Danny loves older kids.

It was so cute to see him in a classroom setting. It seemed this was the perfect day to start Danny in the class. They learned about the letter "S" and pretended to be superheroes and flew through a city to find words that started with the letter "S". They even got flashlights. While they were "flying" the teacher played the Superman theme song (one of his favorite songs). Danny was in heaven to say the least. He loved it! And I of course got teary eyed.

At first, I thought, "What a great coincidence that Danny started on the day they get to pretend to be Superman." But then a talk that I heard titled, The Tender Mercies of the Lord by one of our twelve apostles named, Elder David R. Bednar came to mind. He says, "Some may count this experience as simply a nice coincidence, but I testify that the tender mercies of the Lord are real and that they do not occur randomly or merely by coincidence. Often, the Lord’s timing of His tender mercies helps us to both discern and acknowledge them." He goes on to further explain that, ” Through personal study, observation, pondering, and prayer, I believe I have come to better understand that the Lord’s tender mercies are the very personal and individualized blessings, strength, protection, assurances, guidance, loving-kindnesses, consolation, support, and spiritual gifts which we receive from and because of and through the Lord Jesus Christ. Truly, the Lord suits “his mercies according to the conditions of the children of men” (D&C 46:15). To read this talk, click below.

The Tender Mercies of the Lord

Now, I wasn't looking for reassurance, or even doubting that what we were doing was right or wrong, but at that moment I truly knew that the Lord was looking out for Danny and bestowing his "tender mercy" upon him. Maybe it was something that Danny needed to feel comfortable in the class, and maybe it was just a little reminder to me of how much the Lord loves and knows each of us. He is mindful of all of our needs. Even a three year old starting school. Not that I didn't believe it before it just seemed to have served as a reminder and confirmation of what I believed. It was a sweet and comforting experience.

We are so pleased with Danny's teacher and really feel this is going to be a GREAT opportunity for him. He really enjoyed it. It seemed he was kind of sad to leave. He'll be attending this class for two and a half hours, twice a week for the next two years, until he starts kindergarten, and we are very excited to see what unfolds.

New Home for Trinity in Arizona

For the last six years we have enjoyed the company of our dear dogs, Neo and Trinity. For those of you who don't know, Trinity has been our special needs dog, very adventurous, and high maintenance! We didn't really mind, but with twins on the way we had to make the hard decision to give her away, or sell her. We figured once the babies came it would be hard to meet her needs. We were kind of worried about what kind of family she would go to but luckily, Cecilio's mom and sister expressed interest in her, so that has been a huge relief. We know they'll take really good care of her.
As hard as it was to give her up, I have to say that life is much easier so far with one dog. Neo is the best dog we could have ever asked for. Danny loves him to death. And as hard as it was for Danny to see Trinity go...he's over it. He cried for a little while throughout the day, but he's fine now. As for Neo, the first thing he did when Trinity left was go to his dog bed. Finally he had it all to himself. (Trinity would always hog the bed and growl at him if he tried to get in it.) It seems he was sad for a couple days, but he's made a full recovery as well. He's enjoying getting spoiled!

Update on the Girls

So, everything is going well with these girls. Baby "A" is two weeks behind "B", but I have plenty of amniotic fluid, so apparently there 's nothing to worry about yet. They're going to keep a closer eye on me now though just to make sure one isn't taking nutrients from the other, but so far so good. They are growing beautifully. As for me, still suffering from nausea, and complete exhaustion, but I'm not complaining.

Wow, these last few weeks have flown by! Here are a few things we've been up to trying to get ready for Christmas. Just one more week!

It snowed.........in El Paso! It was so beautiful and a great way to start off the month. Being from here, we knew it would only last a few hours, if not minutes, so we got out there and had some fun. Danny loved it!!

As many of you may or may not know, Danny has a speech delay. He has been in a program called ECI (Early Childhood Intervention) for the the past year where he has a speech therapist and teacher that come to the house twice a month to help him with his speech. When a child turns three however, they are transitioned into the school district if the parents wish. As I mentioned before, Danny will be starting a class in the next few weeks which is like pre-school, with a focus on speech therapy. It's twice a week, three hours a day. I have a feeling he's really going to like it.

Today was graduation! How fast the year has gone. Here he is with his teacher, Ms. Liz and his speech therapist, Priscilla. Thank you for all your hard work guys. They brought him cupcakes for his birthday, and a little gift. We'll miss you.

After two sonograms trying to figure out what we were having, we FINALLY know. Even though this was the combination we were least prepared for, we're super excited! Now, for names! Any ideas anyone? We've got nothing.

Catch Up 3

Ok, hopefully I won't have to do this anymore, for the next few months anyway. Everything is going great with our family and the pregnancy. I'm starting to finally feel a little better, the nausea is still there, but I can at least function. I'm not sure if I'm feeling better or that I'm just learning to live with it, either way though, I'm doing a lot more than I was a few weeks ago. Such as house work for starters.

The twins are doing very well. (I still can't believe I'm saying twins.) We went in for the major ultrasound about 2 weeks ago, where they check their major organs, fingers, toes, brain, spine, etc, and everything looks great. They are quite active, which is funny because I hardly feel them yet. The technician said that was totally normal but that within the next few weeks...I'll definitley start to feel them. We should be finding out this Thursday what we will be having. This makes me nervous. For some reason I'm fine with any combination but two girls. This terrifies me for some reason. Maybe because I have a boy and that's all I know. Having one girl would be great but two, that scares me a little bit. If it is two girls though, I'll be fine, but I'm kind of hoping for two boys, or a boy and a girl. We'll see. I have a feeling that since Heavenly Father surprised us with twins he might surprise us with two girls while he's at it. We'll see what He has in store for us. Either way, I'm just content that they're healthy so far. A woman's body is an amazing thing. I wasn't sure I'd be able to do this but here we are five months later and I'm still alive, and so are they.

Danny's doing great! It seems he is starting to talk a little bit more. He's actually trying to repeat what we say, and is saying some new words. He is just so stubborn though! Every time we've had to get him tested for developmental delays, they are always so surprised that he is right on or exceeds expectations in all areas, except speech. Usually kids with a speech delay will show delays in other areas but, it seems our Danny is just being stubborn, and has decided to talk on his own terms. In December he'll be starting a class twice a week. It's kind of like pre-school with a focus on speech therapy. I have a feeling he's going to love it, and hopefully he'll start talking soon.

Cecilio is hanging in there. This semester has proven to be quite a challenge, and my pregnancy hasn't helped either. He is doing really well though, considering. I'm still not sure how he does it, but he does, with a smile, and sense of humor. He's been really great. He's really excited about the babies. I love him so much. Just trying to make it to finals!!

So there's a quick catch up session for you guys. Hopefully I can keep up this the blog for the next few months. I don't like these catch up posts.

To Cry or Not to Cry Over Spilt Soy Milk

While I was checking my email the other day, this is what happened. Of course Danny was really quiet so I went over to find him and was greeted by this:

What does this mean? He actually went into the fridge, got himself a cup, got on the table, and served himself milk! My first reaction was to get upset but he looked so proud of himself. I acted surprised and told him I couldn't believe he did it all by himself. He was so proud of himself for the next few minutes, it was so cute!

Of course, he drank about half of it and was done, but he did it all by himself, that was all that mattered to him.P.S. For any wondering why soy milk? He was suffering from a lot of ear infections about a year ago and it was recommended we remove milk from his diet. It's weird but ever since he's been infection free!!
